Rusty von Ruhland is a delightful 11-12 month old German Shepherd. While his distinct facial markings might catch your eye, it’s his warmth and playful spirit that will win you over. One of the biggest love bugs at the rescue, Rusty leans in for pets and doles out kisses like it’s his full-time job. He’s well-mannered on the leash and an excellent walking companion, eager to explore while soaking up pets from everyone he meets. He has a strong training foundation, knows his sit and paw commands and takes treats with gentleness. In playgroups, he thrives among other dogs, bringing boundless energy and an effortless ability to make fast friends. His enthusiasm is contagious and, whether greeting a friendly stranger or trotting alongside his favorite person, his happy energy brightens every moment. With his affectionate nature and love for both people and dogs, he’s ready to be a devoted companion and offer his whole heart to the person who welcomes him in.
